When you should go to Anguilla 10 Months ago
Rapidly becoming a luxury destination with high-priced villas and upscale resorts, Anguilla, the most northerly of the British Leeward Islands, retains the laid-back character of a sleepy backwater. Goats still wander the streets and reggae music blares from passing cars.

When To Go
High season runs from mid-December to mid-April. Ulra-high season runs the week or two around Christmas and New Year, when prices can more than double. The average annual temperature is 80°F (27°C), but the hottest weather occurs during the hurricane season between June and November. Rain is heaviest between August and November, so those wanting to avoid both bad weather and high prices might want to schedule their holidays for mid-November to mid-December or in late April or May. Some places shut entirely in September.

Weather Overview
For most of the year you can't complain about Anguilla's cruisy Caribbean conditions; the average annual temperature is 27°C (81°F) and it never strays too far from that. The hottest weather comes during the wet and tumultuous hurricane season from June to October. The average annual rainfall is 35in (89cm), with the majority of that falling between August to November.
