Bread price in Suriname likely to increase |

PARAMARIBO, Suriname: A price hike for bread is inevitable, the Surinamese Bakers Association has warned. Due to the increase by 20 percent of the price of wheat on the world market and for other inputs, including fats and oils, bakeries can no longer maintain the current prices.
