SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic: A letter of intent has been received from an Algerian company, Algeria Sonatrac, to build a 150 megawatt hybrid energy centre and complex in the Dominican Republic, which will use a mix of natural gas and the abundance of the usual daily sunshine on the island.
