Trinidads major attraction during the year is its (0 viewing)
Because of Trinidad's southerly location, temperatures are equable year round. The average daily high temperature in Port of Spain is 31°C (88°F) in both January and July, while the low averages 22°C (72°F) in July and is only one degree cooler in January. December to May are the driest months, with a relative humidity of 75%. June to August, the wettest months, average 260mm (10in) of rain and 23 rainy days each month.

Trinidad's major attraction during the year is its Carnival leading up to Ash Wednesday. However, other aspects draw tourists to Trinidad and Tobago as well. The Asa Wright Nature Center is home to some of the 400 bird species in Trinidad and Tobago. In the capital, Port-of-Spain, hotels provide accomodations for Carnival-goers, while divers, snorkelers, and golfers may choose to stay in guesthouses outside the city.
