Bermuda watersports paradise (0 viewing)
Modern-day Bermuda is affluent, thanks to its status as an offshore financial centre. The government has begun reforming this industry to clean up the territory's reputation as a tax haven. More than 13,000 companies are registered here. The territory's other mainstay is tourism - more than half a million people visit annually.

Bermuda is surrounded by some of the most beautiful blue waters in the world and there are few better ways to spend a vacation in this island paradise than engaging in water sports. Pleasure crafts are available for rental, or you can venture into the deep aboard a fishing boat to reel in some of the game fish that make the waters off Bermuda their home. Other water sports such as windsurfing, parasailing and water skiing are available from the many charter companies that operate in Bermuda. The waters near Hamilton Harbour are always a safe bet – they are scenic and offer exciting views of the city’s main shopping street.

For the romantics there are small sunfish for rent that are perfect for sailing in the calm waters near the Paget and Warwick side of the harbour and admiring the stately homes that line the shores above – or each other.
